We just wrapped up a big one at Comporium headquarters in Rock Hill. The lot had developed some serious cracking - long, wide fractures running across drive lanes and parking areas that weren't going to get better on their own. Left alone, those cracks let water in, and water is what turns a maintenance issue into a full replacement job. That's the reality with asphalt.

We knocked out 2,500 linear feet of crack sealing across the property. That's a significant amount of linear footage, and it covered everything from the open parking fields to the covered carport areas. The before shots tell the story pretty clearly - deep, jagged cracks cutting through otherwise solid pavement. The goal was to seal those out and stop the damage cycle before it got worse.

After the crack sealing was done, we came in with fresh line striping across the lot. Crisp white stall lines, clean layouts - the kind of result that makes a commercial property look like it's being actively maintained. For a company like Comporium that has employees and visitors using that lot every day, that matters. A well-striped lot just functions better.

Here's the thing about crack sealing - it's one of the most cost-effective things you can do for asphalt. You're not rebuilding anything. You're protecting what's already there. A solid maintenance plan that combines crack sealing with periodic re-striping can push the life of a lot out significantly and save serious money versus waiting until the pavement fails completely.

If your commercial lot is showing cracks and faded lines, this job is a good example of what a straightforward maintenance scope can accomplish. Get the cracks sealed, get the lines fresh, and you're ahead of the problem instead of reacting to it.
